ReDirkulous!

2009 November 18, 2009: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX:

Dirk continues his assault on teams with a season high 41 points, 23 of them in the fourth and in OT, to lift the Mavs past the biggest rivalry we have, the San Antonio Spurs. The Mavs were missing three starters, Shawn Marion, Josh Howard, and Eric Dampier but we also received help from newcomer Drew Gooden with 17 points and 11 rebounds who has a double double in each of his three starts! The AAC was insane as it normally is when the Spurs visit Dallas so if you only see one game of the Mavs a year, make it when the Spurs are in town. You won’t be disappointed!

I felt when I saw this shot in my camera that there was something about it I really liked. It made it to SI’s gallery.
