With seemingly nothing but pride to play for the Dallas Mavericks were not ready to lay down and quit.

Jason 'the Jet' Terry goes up for a layup through the Denver defense.
On this night the Mavs played with all their hearts and left everything out on the court as they take game 4 in Dallas 119-117. Denver’s Carmelo Anthony scored 41 points but it would be overshadowed by Dirk Nowitzki’s 44 points and 13 rebounds.
Now they have to go into hostile (in the truest sense of the word) territory and play at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Here are a a few shots from Game 4.
Equipment: Nikon D3, Nikon 70-200mm 2.8, WB w/ExpoDisc

Dirk Nowitzki #41 takes it to the basket

Carmelo Anthony with a playoff high of 41 points

Josh Howard had a good night even though he was playing with two bad ankles

Denver's J.R. Smith takes a fast break in for a reverse dunk
On this shot my focus point was on Dirk so Carmelo was just inside the picture. So that left the other Dallas player out of the image missing getting him in the shot. It would have been cool to have this domino smack caught of all three players. Oh well, that’s fast action sports.

Double Ouch
JJ has really learned alot from Jason Kidd this past offseason and that has made him a good slasher to the basket. I can only hope he improves.
