2012, August 04 – Dallas, TX – Gexa Energy Pavillion:
“You Wanted The Best So You Got The Best. The Hottest Band In The World, KISS”
Since I was 8 yrs old I’ve loved KISS and today I feel no different. I didn’t work this show I was a fan but I took my small point and shoot Nikon and was able to snap off a few shots. Even though I prefer the original band together, Eric Singer on drums and Tommy Thayer on lead guitar are great replacements for Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. This show was as awesome as any KISS shows I’ve seen all the way to 1979 with platforms that lifted up to the top of the stage, confetti, blood & fire breathing (Gene), lights, and of course their famous pyros. Not to mention they sounded awesome they’ve hardly missed a beat. I felt like a kid again seeing them again and remembered all those Halloweens when I dressed up like KISS, with not only the make up but a pair of platform shoes that my Grandfather made me out of wood. KISS is still as awesome as they were back in the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s and I hope they continue playing until they are 100!
